We come from faraway China
My name is Wu Jiancheng, and I grew up in a small village in central Fujian, China, surrounded by tea farms. From a young age, I learned the skills of making and selecting tea from my ancestors, who gradually taught me. China is home to thousands of varieties of tea trees, including large arbor-type, small arbor-type, and shrub-type tea trees. Each variety, along with its unique growing environment, imparts distinct flavors to the tea. Therefore, even the same type of tea can taste drastically different due to variations in geographical conditions and processing methods.
This drives us to lead the way by exploring various tea farms and tasting each tea crafted by local farmers, seeking the best flavors to share with you. This is also the origin of our name, TEASEEKING.
Tea is a healthy beverage. As early as thousands of years ago, during the agricultural civilization, local villagers began consuming tea, which gradually evolved into a rich tea culture. Tea leaves are rich in beneficial compounds, providing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as helping with relaxation and improving focus. Because tea is a healthful drink, the idea behind creating this website is to "share"—to share health and bring the finest teas we have selected to every corner of the world, allowing everyone to experience authentic Chinese tea just like we do.
